How I Stay Relevant on LinkedIn: 2 Strategies That Work
One of the key aspects of LinkedIn success is staying consistently relevant. Over time, I’ve found a couple of things that have helped me do just that.
1️⃣ Participating in Competitions
A LinkedIn tip that has worked well for me in gaining visibility and staying relevant is participating in competitions.
Last year, I took part in Convert.com’s Be Better November—a LinkedIn challenge focused on growth, experimentation, and data literacy. As a result:
✅ I ranked among the top 10 engagers of the competition.
✅ My posts were featured in Convert.com’s LinkedIn Weekly RoundUp.
✅ I gained new followers during the challenge.
✅ I won a $50 Amazon gift card for answering their Weekly Challenge.
2️⃣ Using Scripe for Content Creation & Scheduling
Another game-changer for me has been Scripe, a tool that simplifies LinkedIn content creation.
🔹 It helps generate posts from text, audio, video, PDFs, PPTs, and even YouTube links.
🔹 It offers different content styles—best practice, long-form, short-form, etc.
🔹 You can schedule posts in advance and analyze when your content gets the most engagement.
If you want to try Scripe, you can sign up here: https://scripe.io/?via=atisha (free trial available!).
By using Scripe, I created content over a few days and scheduled posts for months. This saved me 80% of my time, which would have otherwise required 4-5 different tools.
The Impact 🚀
With the extra time, I focused on:
💡 Engaging meaningfully with others’ posts—65% of my LinkedIn search appearances now come from my comments, and 25% from my posts.
🎓 Learning—completing online courses, earning certifications, and attending webinars.
📢 Sharing insights that enriched my product growth and career consulting services.
As a result, I received 200+ bookings on my Topmate page within a year. This ultimately led to my feature on the Times Square Billboard in New York City.
💡 Takeaway: Participating in competitions and using the right tools can boost your LinkedIn presence while saving you time. Want to give it a shot? 🚀
